Pre-Christmas Lunch and Visit to Sir John Soane’s Museum – Saturday 23rd November 2019 @ Penderel's Oak

Come along and enjoy an informal pleasant Pre-Christmas lunch and bit o’chat with like minded Cornish folk followed by, if wished, a visit to Sir John Soane’s Museum. The Museum is located just a few minutes walk away at 13 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, Holborn, London WC2A 3BP.

The nearest Tube Stations are Holborn or Chancery Lane.

134th Anniversary Dining Event -Luncheon at The Imperial Hotel, 61-66 Russell Square, London WC1B 5BB in the Tudor Room.   12pm for 1pm

We are continuing the Annual Dining Event Luncheon in 2020, in response to requests from several members who find it challenging to be out late at night and would prefer a lunchtime gathering.

The Hotel is situated overlooking Russell Square. From Russell Square Tube Station, turn left onto Russell Square and Hotel approx. 150 yards on the left. The main reception is through an archway to a courtyard. Also there is a car park in this area.
Russell Square Underground Station is a 2 minute walk away.

Cost per person :  £29.00

Menu as follows:-

Starter:        Mushroom Soup
Mains:         Roast Loin of Pork with Sage, Onion & Apple Sauce
Dessert:      Profiteroles and Chocolate Sauce

Family History Day(incorporating the AGM and Trelawny Lecture) 18th April 2020 @ Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church

Sue Appleby whose Talk is entitled “The Cornish in the Caribbean“.

During the lunch break, the Annual General Meeting for members will take place.

We have much pleasure in announcing that Catherine Mead, OBE, DL, Director of Lynher Dairies will speak in the Afternoon Session on “Lynher Dairies and its History” .
